remember 2 things
1) There is a 10% early withdrawal tax.
2) Long term capital gains are normally taxed at 15%. In case of IRA, they will be taxed at regular rates at withdrawal time. So if you have big income in withdrawal year, you will be paying over 30% tax for IRA.

So plan your withdrawal carefully.

thx uncle...withdraw cheshte penalty + tax rendu padathaya?

Bava early withdraw is 10% plus you will have to add that amount to that years income..so you need to pay tax on that

If you buy home you can withdraw upto $10K without fine but you will still need to add to that years income.
