Since we do this we try to bargain/find a deal.

Eventually the better deals and service I got are from Greenville/ Greensboro

I got odyssey 2013 in Apri 2013 for $30K+tax EX-L. Didnt add any bells and whistles. Still running great. At that time, folks in our group bought the same vehicle for $32K +
I have cross negotiated between the dealers in a very remote(100 miles away from the main city limits). It worked fine eventually.

Some dealers (rather salesmen) try to play on your ego by saying for the price you quoted you should get a cheaper variety.. Just to agitate you..

One salesman tried to get me irked by saying if this was the price it's looking for we would have wasted his and our time.. I asked him not to worry I will pay him hourly.. Asked him to call his mgr and I will cut Cheque for time gave him what for and walked out..

Have a walk away price (you won't pay more than that) in mind after research - try to get below that price.. That month sale, that day sale, incoming inventory, targets to meet etc play a role..

Two other dealer I went to - the dealers were nice- negotiation was tight but courteous..
Always easy if you know your walk away price

Nakunna experience.

You have to be firm on what you want and for how much you want.

Usually car dealers talk to you by saying monthly payments. they do not talk about how much you are paying at the end of day..

1) you want ex, leather, all wheel, gray color. get true car value and bargain from below that price.

some times they give you much cheaper if the car in the lot but you get regular colors like white, silver etc.

Other thing is dealers also has percentage at the your loan interest rate. if they are giving you 0.99 or 0 % apr, your price would not go down.. else they get another 1k to 2k from banks if you close with them. The interest what bank offers you would less than what you get from dealer..

so finally you are screwed up.. best thing is you should not take your family to the dealer . show them car and ask them to go ..

small items like mats, roof rack also add up.. they cost much less for them

He infact asked us to walk away if we are not happy to pay 54,500 on raod! We repeatedly were brining LEXUS RX 350 into picture saying they are ready to give it for $52,000 on ROAD and he said if we are happy with that SUV we should go for it as we are spending 50 grand! But than I was thinking LEXUS RX 350 we saw was a FRONT WHEEL Drive, NO Third ROW Seats (And we were very very impressed with 3rd in this QX60 as it had excellent leg room even for 3rd row)!

if you go by those sites you won't get any discounts vuncle, they are strategically using those sites if we ask any discounts and they will say within
50 miles you get this deal but

they will budge try with naother dealer and get better quote by pitting each other

and avarage of tru car value ,edmunds invoice price, all combinations lo pindali


Anni chesam and we were stuck asking for 53K on road and they did not budge below 54,500...and this 54,500 for these options seems below EDMUNDS, KBB, TRUECAR by atleast 1500...but maa vaadu 50K ki adagalsindi ante How ani anipinchindi!

just ask them for 50k ...try getting a quote from other dealers if possible...or just walk away from them...they will come down...its tht time of the year tooo

AUTO Buying - What can be considered good Deal? Ee question yenduku ochhindo septha...

As some of you we were shopping around for a Luxury SUV for my cousin and eventually bought it yesterday! Bandi konnaka oka aayana antaadu 50K ki teggotti undochhu ON ROAD ani and I was kinda surprised!

Let us do the math:

1) TRUE CAR Best Price for this 2015 INFINITI QX 60 All Wheel Drive - $41,105
2) TOP End Options Added - $13,710 (Deluxe Touring Package, Premium Plus Package, Technology Package)

Upto this point GOOD PRICE was coming to $54,000 (Approximately). We added about $1000 more for some other accessories and this was now $55,000.

Adding 3% Tax, Documentation Fee of $600 and Title fee of $100...bought the Price to Approximately $57500.

We did some more bargaining and eventually ended up paying $54,500 (On Road)!

HOW CAN WE SLASH IT DOWN TO $50,000? Is it possible?
