same cards printed 6 months back...changed the deduc to 1000$..next month accident by wifey....total bill 1500..i paid deductable 1000$...gieco paid just 500$ if driver/drivers have great driving sense and history go for 1000$ deduc or else stick with 500$ | ||

Ok.. naa comprehensive is 500 - this will not have a major impact.. comprehensive covers 'act of god' and few other things so 500 ettina.. naa Collision is 1000 - this has major impact.. accidents anni collision kindiki vastayi... 1000 is reasonable for this ani naa idi.. | ||

Naa experience... first time insurance is always expensive... NJ la first time insurance geico gave me 1800 for 6 months... spoke to 3-4 insurance companies and esurance gave it for 900... after six months switched to geico and got it got 600-700ish.. So keep looking for options.. call multiple companies.. after few months on history all set aithadu.. time and patience important | ||

high deductible is fine esp calculate the diff. 30*12=360$ how often u will have an accident ante very rare so go with 1000$-150$ | ||

nee question artham kaale.. r u trying to understand if the deductible on comprehensive can be increased to reduce the monthly payment? comprehensive meeda antha impact undadu, collision deductible penchithe u will see the difference.. chances of using the comprehensive coverage are less compared to collision coverage so collision is more pain to the pocket | ||
