To be frank, this is only my observation, but none the less, I did see quite a bias in interviews at consulates for Christian/Muslim candidates to be stamped with a Visa than a religious Hindu (displaying bottu/kasi thadu etc etc) .. Somehow, I am not convinced that this could only be a mere coincidence!! And also since US consulates/embassies openly associate themselves with evangelist orgz, "human rights" NGO groups etc .. I lived in Chicago with a substantial number of Muslim youth, who were searching for jobs (in 2008 recession) .. you should see to believe the amount of radicalization/orthodox religious regimen they were going through.
