I might be generalizing abit.. especially in Desam, average muslim doesnt mind leaving Hindus as is, but many christians I have seen or met want to actually convert all hindus around them. I had one favorite teacher in my engineering, was a christian. We were in touch even when I was doing my masters, and through her I even used to send books to college library, if she felt students would benefit because of it. I started getting some christian themed emails and mostly forwards, I Ignored for a while - and then one day she wanted to talk to me about something and I called her up. she proposed that I should think about converting to christianity that moment my feeling was inexplicable. ofcourse, now my wife is christian but that is whole another point. | ||

We have a whatsapp group for our Eng batch. We are 60-80 guys in the group. In the group there are 3 Christians and rest are all hindus. We discuss everything under the sund, including the recent intolerance debate and Aamir khan statement. Since it was mostly Hindu dominated group, we abused Aamir and questioned his patriotism of ther khans for their support in one way the other to militant accused or toward intolerance. While this was all going, one Xstian friend who was not all that active in the group suddenly posted a message about conversion and supporting the notion that people are voluntarily getting converted but not by force. No one responded to that message as we don't want a divide in the group though there are only 3 guys belonging to the religion. Next day, he shared a 55 minute video about the conversion by someone named Stephen babu. The video details about how he grew up as devout hindu and later converted to Xstian and talks bad about hinduism. People got pissed off and started abusing the guy that he can't talk or share bad about the their religion. He didnt respond initially, after a day, he responded saying that he's just sharing facts about conversion and said if they are not tolerant we can rename the group name to xxx-hindu-group and he don't have a problem. Once he responded, all went nuclear on him and he was finally removed from the group. The other two xstian guys never condemned him or his actions. All they did was religion should not be bought into discussions. Then, next day a hindu guy posted a video about false conversions, on jesus and how people are duped etc.. Then one of the xstian guy got pissed and started abusing that why are we extending the topic by sharing such topics, the same guy never condemned the actions of the other guy(who shared xstian conversion video). Some people quit the group saying that they can't be part of the group where their religion is abused. Now, if you guys are in the same position, what would be your reaction and how do you deal with the moron who started all this.
