The amount time you spend on installing or rooting android is the trade off My hptouch pad still works great , but it had glitches as you said , it will not boot if the battery is completely drained and I did spend many hours watching videos and finally fixed it , Sideloading the google playstore etc can be done , but it all comes down to how much you want to spend the time As of now nothing can beat the apple ecosystem and also the better user interface of IOS - | ||

1 year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited with the tablets I guess , then it will charge $3 for prime also $35 tablet will have only $8 gig space , after OS it make have 13 apps ? the Amazon app store is limited , comparing this with IPAD is , comparing corolla with Rolls Royce If the purpose of tablet is to play few games , watch netflix then any tablet will do .. now a days portable laptops are also very light weight Also , the HP touch pad many have bought on sale , will be much better tablet than this fire , I still have it with Android lolipop and it works , but I don't use it There is tons of electronic junk , including original kindle reader which I really use - | ||

does something that others were not able to do.. if u have kids and if u r concerned abt their screen time..throw away ur minis, galaxiues..and get amazon fire. parental controls are awesome..you can create child profiles..set what times they can watch (say between 8am to 8pm) and for how much time (1 hr) etc..after these thresholds are crossed, no matter what they do, they can't watch..you can select and screen apps/games/books for them and make them avaialble. design wise.decent build quality, doesnt look cheap, retina displays avi lekapoina, 720p clarity(which is good for all purposes).. sometimes, sensible things come at much lower cost..tokkalo ipads galaxy tabs all waste before a simple 7 inch fire(atleast for sake of kids) Happy Vizag |
