multiple issues here: 1 - it is very easy to register properties on Your name with the help of power of attorney. Why register on parents name if you are not giving it to them or if you don't trust them.. 2 - they should have told parents that, I am not giving you these but just keeping on your name... It goes both ways Starc.. there are some exceptions but chala mandi parents they struggle a lot to get us to a good position. So once we have a little flexibility with money, we try to make things easy for siblings/parents. Like I said, helping out is a good thing. But communication clear ga lekapote manade tappu..we either have to speak out clearly. India lo vallu face to face kalustaru (in this case brother and parents) they can get things cleared easily. | ||

There are 2 aspects that I noticed in general. 1. US/Abroad lo unnavallu, they cannot share their struggles to earn money. Daily struggles with managers, contracts, visa issues all that we go through, we cannot communicate properly. We think we don't want to burden parents with these issues. What this leads to a feeling from parents/siblings is that is easy money. 2. Other thing is when we help siblings/parents - we dont look for their thanks/acknowledgement. Back of our mind, we are paying back because they helped us to be in this position. Which is a noble feeling. Whats next with that feeling is we have develop "dont expect anything" back feeling. or communicate what we feel clearly. | ||
