I think that is what we are seeing now. Recession ani official ga cheppalante we should be into 2 - 3 qtrs of recession. To answer your question, as of now job growth has not stopped. That is a good indicator. Konni bad indicators kuda vunnayi but as of now I don't think panic button is needed. Generally, diversified investors will have less to worry about. It only traders that has to be extremely careful. And I think the multiple levels of derivatives in the market are reasons for some of these wild swings!! As i said for the Economist, VJA has predicted correctly 10 out of the last 5 recessions. I think India is relatively safe from any global factors, Rajan did not cut interest rates ahead of time and now we have a lot of room to cut rates unlike the West where rates have been close to 0 for long. Just invest in good MFs for the long term and rest peacefully. Don't touch real estate. That's my only advice.
