Indian contribution to math & science is in our most of the school books. No one has problems with that. Most of the elites are studying IB curriculum. Those in CBSE/ICSE hardly care about history, as the focus is more on sciences. State syllabus are hardly competitive, and even the middle class are reluctant to send their kids to state syllabus. Naroda Gaam Sessions Case, investigating 11 killed on February 28, 2002, is still under trial. 5. For me the biggest failure is just basic governance. I agree on the reduced corruption part (though the Modi, Vyapam scams have given it a black mark). Not doing anything is not a mark of achievement right. - Economic growth has been weak, leaving aside the revision to the GDP figures which even the best economists are grappling with. Stock market performance is also reflective of this. - Govt. not able to pass important bills and failing in parliamentary strategy. With the highest majority in 30 years, I expected them to do revolutionary things in governance - not just in economic bills but also in legal, administrative, police reforms etc etc. Whatever they have done till date are just rehashed versions of UPA bills. - Modi's silence is grating. Who wants to listen to some platitudes on Mann ki Baat. Currently it appears more like Manmohan ki baat. - Too many photo ops and captions - like Swachch Bharat, Make in India etc., almost like Naidu in his earlier avatar. | ||

That is a realistic and reasonable assessment based on their record of ten years in office.
