Got it today escalated it to consulate to get it fast....if anyone needs it fast send email with travel dates...luckily customer service lady helped alot.. 1 day lo matchup at consulate on monday...ckgs mailed it yesterday... before june15 it is an average couple of days... something went wrong after june15th... 20days embassy lone....i think too many pio to oci conversions anukonta... rahul: chicago customer service replied it will take 3+7+3 businessdays (ckgs to embassay, embassy to ckgs, ckgs to us) when i got it couple of years ago it took less than 4-5days... when i googled people in june/july are saying they havent received even after 3-4 weeks... if anyone tried embassy to get back their passport? anyone know what the procedure is...can i directly walk in to embassy and request showing them tickets? Did you send your PP for match-up recently. For the past few weeks match timeline has gone up exponentially and it might take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. I don't think they will give you any info. However, let me know if it works and I will do the same. In my case, passport was sent from CKGS to consulate on July 1st and still under processing. May be now it is taking more time... generally they will givein 15 calendar days.. call consulate and follow up .... if you can visit , go and check with them personally | ||

2 weeks ani cheppru I think you can follow up with them to get passport and OCI card As you need to go India No one in this world should hold passports for long Just check with them, mostly you get in two days after your enquire | ||
