Bahubali - This was probably the most awaited movie for me. Intha eager ga aa movie ki wait cheyyaledu... Did it match my expectations?? Yes for most part of it.. and No too ane cheppale.. Yes - Because of the sheer Grandeur, the art work, the camera work, the CGI... the kind of hype the team created around the CGI work, they met the hype… the team coordination was visible on the screen. Its a visual treat, no doubt abt it.. ‘Mahismati Raajyam’ is just amazing… such a care was taken in every frame, it was clearly visible how much the director cares for his product (barring some of the scenes in the beginning, Dheevara song and snow fight - CGI should have been better for the kind of money they spent..)... Production values are top notch, kudos to producers. No - Because it lacks the earth shattering power packed punch I was expecting, the MASS in me was expecting the same adrenalin rush I got for previous RM movies where u want to jump out of the seat screaming.. KICK annamaata.... Pebbi - Satyaraj confrontation and climax speech scenes came very very close though but I was expecting more… Slow narration is a drawback… ee genre ki it needs tighter screenplay… I somehow felt RM wanted his own 'Avatar' hence so much important to CGI.. Also back ground score should have been better… not up to the mark for Kreem-RM combo standards… Pebbi - Cutout ki, voice/expression ki assalu match ledu... Too much cutout assalu... intro scenes aithe I really doubt if any hero can match his physique in TFI... he did his best but climax motivation speech and some other dialogues la voice valla raavalsina output ledu anipinchindi... Rana - Did well... but weakest villain so far in RM movies (characterization, not talking abt acting)... not as menacing as usual RM villains Ramya – Neelambari rocks!!! Gift to film industry.. she indeed is the energy of the movie, RM was right.. what a powerful performance..  Anushka and Tammu- Anushka intro scene chaala baaga chesindi, where she talks to Satya Raj… Tammu jaaga bokka… koncham overacting chesindi for that kind of role.. Satyaraj is a much better actor than I thought.. he is definitely an asset to the movie.. Nazar look baagundi .. cunning character ki suit aye vidhamga.. Songs - 2 melody SONGS jaaga bokka, item song double jaaga bokka… songs made narration even slower... Best Scenes – CLIMAX of course, followed by Satya Raj – Pebbi confrontation… RM – Take a bow for the imagination and execution.. you definitely deserve the crazy and BRAND value BUT next movie ki hoping tighter screenplay and make the movie more engaging.. LAST - like i said before..LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS.. BO Amma mogudu ee movie... India and US both dunnestadi ani expecting... PS – Should have avoided some ridiculous scenes – statue scene where Pebbi single handedly (not revealing it) and few other scenes… |
