Why.. why not they release accused on bail on day one?

To answer this seriously, here are my two cents on the criteria for granting/denying bail:
1. Gravity of charges (mostly measured in terms of maximum possible sentence and to an extent the minimum possible sentence if proved guilty)
2. Possibility of the accused absconding from the law (just as at the time of issuing US visa, family ties, business/job, past record etc. are the criteria to determine this. Platform gaadu, no ties, no job ante at high risk of absconding anukuntaru)
3. Impeding investigation: This is more complex but usually in cases involving many people for example Gali Janardhan Reddy case lo IAS officers, many businessman, politicians, some private company employees etc. were all possible witnesses. There was a lot of information to be gathered from them. And the accused was an influential fellow so there is a good chance that he may influence the investigating officers, witnesses etc. through bribery, threats, political contacts etc. By denying bail, this risk can be mitigated to an extent. In cases where electronic records (transaction records, hard risks, video/audio tapes etc.) are pretty much all that the investigating agency needs and if those have been acquired, there is little scope for influencing or changing even if bail is granted.
4. Threat to society: A serial killer for instance may kill more people if let off on bail. An arrested corrupt officer is not such a threat as they're usually suspended even if on bail and even without suspension it is unlikely that they could cause massive irreversible damage like a serial killer.
5. Likelihood of conviction: If an accused is likely to be convicted, as seen from prime facie evidence and interim evidence produced by the investigating agency, the chances of bail are low. That's because for convicted people, the judicial remand period can be set-off against sentence but for those who ultimately get acquitted, the lost time and suffering by judicial remand can't be reversed. This is also considered in case of people in jail for a long time and likely sentence is not much more than time already spent in jail.
6. Compulsory bail: If investigating agency fails to file a chargesheet (including evidence), within 60 days (or 90 days depending on gravity of charges), then the accused is eligible for compulsory bail. Of course, in some extreme cases such as Kasab or Jaggu exceptions can be made to this. SC denied Jaggu bail even though the CBI failed to file chargesheet (subject to correction) within 90 days. Ex-CJI Sathasivam, at the time of denying bail said such economic offenders are like terrorists. They are worse than murderers and rapists because they don't affect just one person or one family but the society at large.

pedda scene enduku create chestaru..

Most of the times, that's what they do. They let off on bail on day one. In fact, for cases such as the one against Revanth where the worst case scenario is a 5 year sentence, even the SHO (CI/SI or ACB arresting officer) can let off on bail.
The reason they give bail so easily so often is because otherwise some people who could paste your post and modify it slight to make it read "Why.. why not they convict the accused on day one? Trial ani defense ani pedda scene enduku create chestaru.."
