i used the above, quit for 4 years now
the way this works is you start the course of medication, pretty harmless no side effects, one pill a day and you can continue smoking uptil the 8th day, after that you need to stop smoking but coninute taking the medication( its suggested 2 months but i did for one month), your cravings automatically go away, even if you light up a cigarette you will throw it away since it will disgust you like nothing else will.

life lo chesina best pani idey, kind of proud that i could quit, i tried going cold turkey, patches, nothing worked, this really helped me out

Its all in the brain.. 2 things influence it most from my understanding.. Fear and Responsibility.. these are powerful motivators than Craving.. successfully quit chesinollu andaru cold turkey...

dont have that chooddam attituted vunkul..

done anthey.. I tried this approach and fell back.. just wipe it off your mind

before you started smoking there was no need for it.. you wanted to smoke you did not need to smoke.. after quitting same..

I did not try anything special but practicing vipassana stopped my craving even I smoke now and then one pr two I i don't feel crave..
Any addiction is not related to mind but body so observing body sensation removes craving

16th month running.. Quit cold turkey..
Read the book "easy way to stop smoking" when I was thinking of quitting.. Helped me..
Smoked for almost 18 yrs..
Kept telling myself - there was never a need to smoke before. There will never ever be a need (Allen carrr's message in the book)

Don't do half measures.. Don't give concessions like 1 smoke after lunch ( you are still in trap)..

I stopped smoking in winter last year, I joined the Hartford client during those winter days, office ki 5,6 surrounding places lo car parking undedi. shuttles undevi office ki nearby ani walk cheseyvadni. uphill laga undedi office ki daari from parking space doola teeripoyeddi breathing kastam ayeddi that too with laptop bag and stuff. enka etla aeithey kastam ani I want to quit god pls help me in this effort ani anukoni, 1 fine afternoon in office manesaa.

Sai baba gave me strength in quitting ani na edhi.
10yrs alavatu cold quit chesi quit chesaa..14th month edi after I quit.
weight gain emi kaledu but after btech 10-15kgs weight periganu

next weight loss is target 10kgs taggalli.

oka 6 months tharvatha oka sitting lo yentha control chesukunna avakunda oka cigarette theesukunna, pakkana vunna close friend theesi avathalesesadu, thats it successful gaa 3 years complete ayipoyindhi....

Annai nenu recent ga quit chesanu....6 months ayyindi....I am completely free from tobacco now...No withdrawal syptoms and nothing....Magic em cheyyaledhu...Konchem indriya nigrahamu Bas....ardham kaaleda??

Count tagginchadam, control lo pedadam anukovadam pedda bokka pani...I tried this for years....no use...Believe me...It will never help...Quit ante Quit anthe....Not even a puff.

First week narakam...second week inkaa narakam...third week konchem baguntundhi....4 th week abba sooper anipistundhi...U taste things better, u smell them better...anni adbhutaale

But one caution....quit chesaaka, konni side effects untayi...But kangaru padakoodadhu....Mouth ulcers, jalubu, may be slight constipation and etc....but avi oka 2, 3 weeks untayi bas....taruvatha antha Happies

1. Tell everyone, (as in everyone) around you who knows you smoke that you quit smoking!

2. Tell'em proudly everyday (as in everyday), from how many days you aint smoking

3. Use social media (eg: whatsapp status, how many days you'vent smoked), Open a thread here in DB may be and keep it alive with the information. This is all for everyday motivation.

4. If you are a loner, its 100% in your head. Hold your head with your hands now! ( NO!, dont smile do it now). So its in your hands.

5. So, now most important thing: you will get a chance to smoke without people around you knowing. If you do so, after telling everyone that you quit smoking obviously "You don't respect yourself" and if you dont respect yourself, you cant complain if someone else's not respecting you without a reason.

It boils down to "quit smoking or lose selfrespect".

one fine night night motham oka panchayithi jarigindi almost till 3 AM... memu tharavaatha kooda mandu koduthu akade undi poyam till 5 AM... aa night motham oround 40 cigerets kalchi unta on top of 5 or 6 pegs mandu ( very rare I drink more than 3)

next day around 11 ki lechesariki noru antha chedu maamulu ga kaadu parama bayankaramayina chedu and notlo emi petabudi kaala food all day long

aa roju motham smoke cheyala, felt this could be the time to quit smoking... successful 19th month running

did not use any patch... first lo oka 10/15 days manasu peekindi but now no urge

My dad is a chain smoker for 30 years. Doctor warned him that your days are numbered anthe sudden ga he stopped. Now he is doing fine.

Cigarette smoking is mostly out of boredom. edo time pass ki saradaga liting. So learn some good hobbies, sports to occupy ur time. Always mind occupy cheyyi..
