Judges, doctors use lot of discretion in their judgments. Read Acb court judge comments during revanth bail petition. It is not a normal citizen case. CM was involved in this. Democracy ke macha. Judges has and will lead the society in such cases by delivering a judgment that benefits democracy. It was the norm and there was no reason it would be different. Even if you are the high court judge, it does not matter. If you want to stay happy that nothing will happen to cbn, so be it. I have no intention to disturb your happiness. As for me, I know cbn did this and was trapped enough to get convicted. This would reduce political corruption like in Jagan. Reasonable mind ki it is obvious that Babu was briefed about the cash for vote thing. However, as per Indian law, it is the responsibility of the prosecution to establish that this was definitely what Babu meant. First let me clarify that in my mind I am convinced that Babu knew that Revanth was giving a cash bribe, I also think Babu was involved directly in arranging the money. Now, if you want to continue to live in a fools paradise, you may continue to do so but trust me, I have a very close relationship with a person who is very high in the judiciary and I think I know better than you about how the judiciary works. Being convinced in my mind or the judges personal belief is not what matters. Judgements are given on the basis of law (as written explicitly as well as through interpretations based on based precedents) and the evidence brought in front of the judge must not leave a reasonable doubt. If a judge concludes that Babu knew about it and was attesting to the same cash bribe simply because he spoke to Stephenson and said he got briefed and that he will honor the commitments, then that will become a precedence if endorsed by HC or SC. And then all hell will break loose, people will frame innocent people even when they genuinely meant something different. That audiotape means very little in courts. Also, if conviction can be done based on the judge's interpretation of such ambiguous statements, some judges will deliberately take wrong interpretations because of motives. So the law doesn't allow that kind of discretion. | ||

I still have doubt about that tring tring that was heard at the start of audio tape. That tring tring feels like the sound as if it is recorded from the calling person's phone, not the receiver's phone. If the recording is done on Stephenson's phone, is it possible to record the phone ringing sound as heard from the calling person's side? Any of you, who have used recording apps, have any idea about this? If it is Sebastian's phone that was tapped and CBN talked from that phone, it makes sense. That must be T ACB's story too. Though how they defend tapping of Sebastian's phone with official tapping orders has to be seen. Anyway, notice will be sent to Babu. Let us see how the AP govt tackles the post-notices scenario.
