Have two cubscouts/boyscouts Camping checklist : Tent : 4 person - go to bass pro or any good outdoor store to get a good one. Tarp : to cover the floor area of the tent before the tent goes on Sleeping bags , air mattresses or the folding foam mattresses from costco- depending on how much comfort you want And pillows, comforters/sheets depending on night temprature Tent rigging supplies - mallet if not includded with tent Other supplies : Cooler filled with water, drinks, milk and any other essentials Campfire supplies if you are planning one - firewood, kindling/ fire starter If you do this you need smores - skewers, graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate squares.
