i mentioned this few times already, but again for info.

do not feed iron rich diet right away after/before milk. calcium prohibits iron absorption.

iron is important for their growth, just like calcium.

maa buddadi 10 months paakindhi, almost anni late gaa chesindi, walking kuda day care teachers were worried becoz most of her age kids were walking and she was still crawling, but one fine day she started walking, just a matter of time, stop worrying too much about these milestones

Give her three more months and see if she can crawl by then, some kids are little late...my neice is 11 months now, she just started crawling...she had similar issues like she could not sit up properly, etc...keep bringing your concerns to the pediatrician and seek proper advise on seeing specialists as needed.

when he is hungry edi pettina thintada? make this as his breakfast time....like i said konni food items freeze chesi pettesuko..bone soups lantivi kuda cubes la freeze cheyyochu....antha night lechi preperation kastam kabatti...oats pancake mix few days untundi refrigerate chesthe.....fruits anni neat ga cut chesi boxes lo pettukunte makes your life easy....sleep when he sleeps....

listen to the doctor..some kids are little slow in doing certain things, they will eventually catch up. That is Okay. I can understand your anxiety, but always listen to your pediatrician. They know more than any of us here.

some babies skip crawling....direct ga walk chestharu....dont worry about it..calcium syrup avasaram ledu...her diet is gud for 9 months old....ragi mix,lentils already pedthunnaru....rice soft ga chesi palak paneer lanti curries pettochu.....

Sisters, as a father of 9 month old baby naadi oka question - Naa chitti thalli inka pakadam ledu and other physical activities lo on a slower side. Doctor ni adigithe em parledu, inka time undi antadu. She is active on other fronts like intellectual skills.

So I guess the food taken by her might be a problem. Can someone suggest what needs to be given at this age? Her mom is giving below diet - 1. Milk, 2. Ragi powder with milk, 3. A mixture of powdered Minapappu, Pesara pappu, etc, 4. Rice with curd or any one kind of steamed vegetable.

Upon persistence, doc has suggested to give Calcium syrup which we started recently. Kinda kontha mandi suggest chesina leafy vegetables pettacha? Or suggest something which increases her Calcium n Iron levels. Please suggest any veg items :-)

Eggs are double ok. Boil chesi chinna chinna pieces ga grate chesi, water or rasam/pappu lo vesi pedithey thintundhi.

She doesn't chew food, we are trying to address that, till then frozen pieces etc bite/chew cheyadam kastam.Every 1-2 days ki one or two fruits with almond milk lo mix chesi grind chesi isthunnamu. Summer kabatti, raatri dry kajjoor ni neellallo naana petti aa water pattisthamu.

Yes, ours is not as big a problem as Urumi's. But somethings like mac n cheese ivvalemu..

Calcium ki antey almond milk lo unnadhey...broccoli malli introduce cheyaali. Any other sources untey cheppandi...
Ice cream badhalu coconut milk tho chesey ice cream pettaamu last year....summer vasthundhi ga malli introduce chestamu.

Do not add any spices - just stick to salt , pepper and Rosemary/thyme/mint/cinnamon/nutmeg
Either caramelise the onion( low heat lo oil lo crisp brown chesi crush chesi kalapandi) or add some sweet potato,butternut squash, carrots or pumpkin to the soup and mash them in..

Creamed corn will also sweeten it or just add some sugar

zucchini chala sanna ga cut cheyyali and cutting anta aipoyaka paper towel lo batches ga 10 mins pedatamu so that water peelchukunettu. don'tput it in 350 degrees.. we usually set low temp like 225

1 cup ground oldfashioned oats (we use quaker)
3sppons sugar
2 spoons baking powder
pinch of salt
1 eggs
around 1/4 cup oil (any vegetable oil)
1 cup milk ( we even tried with silk milk)

mix dry first and then wet. batter ni 20 mins naninaka waffles veyyandi. you can even add blueberries, chocolate chips etc

banana toppings laga vestam for kids

Slow cooker kadu - ask your local butcher to give you the bony meat - ask him to cut the bones to small pieces...

I think I sent you the mutton soup recipe some time ago - danilo babu ki padani spices avoid chesi -rest of the procedure follow avvandi - and pressure cook for a couple of hours ..This will bring the protein and calcium into the soup better...Remove bones , shred/grind the meat and back to the soup

If he likes drinking soup, thicken it with a little rice flour , else you can cook rice, rice rava, oats in this liquid for a nutritious staple..

Indian spices padakapote - try rosemary, thyme and organo for flavoring..

Dosakaya mutton recipe cheppava



Cook meat in pressure cooker (5 vigils).Heat oil in a deep pan, add mustard seeds, chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves and fry until onions are golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2-3 minutes. Now add meat, red chilli powder, masala powder, salt and turmeric and water mix cover with lid and cook on medium heat for 5-10 minutes.Add dosakaya and tomato pieces to the meat and cook on medium for 5-10 minutes .Then add some cilantro.

Goat /lamb tolerate cheste mutton soup/stock is the best rejuvenative - Ayurveda course lo kuda ade chepparu...

Cook the rice in mutton/chicken stock if he will take it ..

Egg - we make fried egg, omlette, burji, boiled egg in tomato and onion sauce,boiled egg in peanut sauce, boiled egg antu pulusu, boiled egg saute (eggs boil chesi malli oil lo popu uppu karam garam masala etc veste super untundi.. can be eaten as snack too)

yes use almond milk no need to add yoghut..if you want you can mix probiotics ....

oats powder tho pancake ( unbleached all purpose flour tho chesthe best actually)

rice padadu annav kabatti oats mixie patteyi

add 1 egg,1 cup oats flour, 1/4 cup milk(soy/almond edi padithe adi, milk ruled out ante water ayina ok)
1 pinch of baking soda

set it aside for few house...you can refrigerate this mix for few days

heat pan , add butter/oil ...pour batter on to the heated pan dibbarotte style lo...

scrambled egg as side....

beat eggs,few spoons of milk,lil bit of salt...omlete la kakunda soft texture vachela pan lo cook cheyi...

Fish-- samething with fish
Potato-min 10 varieties cheyochu
Tomato-- dal, koota, chutney .. and takina vegs tho mixing cheyochu
Yellow squash
Zucchini--
Dosakaya-- dal. chutney
Methi--aloo methi, methi roti
And other leafy vegetables-- anni leafy vegs tho dal, and potato and soya curry
Blueberries.. chutney, and tomatoes substitute laaga using chesukovochu
Avocado
Oats-- gravy items tho oats teneyochu or.. idly, dosa lo oats ni urad dal sub laaga use cheyochu..
Cilantro-- chutney.. ,garnishing
Ginger--chutney
Choclate.. deserts

Basic flaws in this thread.

*Never ever cook spinach. if you cook indian style 70% vitamins gone. always clean and eat spinach.

** As a matter of fact don't cook any organic foods indian style. aa rate petti koni aa heat lo cook cheste waste.
*** use slow cookers.

full recipe please




boil baby spinach and baby kale together ( you only need small cup of water since spinach contains quiet a lot of water)

boil and peel aloo / paneer ayithe pan lo shallow fry until raw smell goes away

chop onions,chillies,garlic into tiny pieces....

add oil to pan.... saute onions,chillies,garlic....then add tomatoes...let it cook for few mins, now add spinach-kale puree, salt, dhaniya powder, aloo/paneer...

keep the lid closed...cook it on low flame for few more mins...so that aloo/paneer absorbs salt and pulupu flavour..

2) water melon, grated ginger, lemon or green apple, honey optional - make smoothie
3) potato, cilantro, methi, ginger patties
4) avocado dip
5) boiled oats, apple, pear, blueberry pieces
6) oats and dosakaya curry. Dal kudarada?
7) oats tomato cilantro or methi upma
8) roasted squash
9) honey dew, cantaloupe smoothies with choclate
10) choclate. Covered berries, apples, pears, banana....like a chocolate fountain
11) egg boiled, half boiled, curry with oats, eggs in tomato gravy, deviled eggs
12) grill dosa, zucchini, squash
13) roasted tomato chutney with oats
14) potato fry, potato tomato curry
15) powdered oats dosa with potato curry
16) oats with tomato ginger cilantro rasam
17) dosa zucchini tomato sambar without dal

Rice or wheat and one dal add ayithe it will be very helpful......good luck girl...our thoughts and prayers with all of you
