My kid had a project designed already. He will save money from his pocket/birthday gifts etc in his piggy bank. I will match it $ to $. With the pooled money, he will buy stuff for kids. Also packs his old but good cloths into individual packs. Also packs his sibling used but good cloths. All of his old pens/pencils, toys also gets cleaned, packed like this. Once he is in India, he will visit few slums, govt schools etc with his grandpa help and distribute these.. while doing this, he would note his observations and upon return, he needs to prepare a report on his trip and present to his (new grade) teacher and I will buy a gift/trip to local place of interest. :-) | ||

Usually if kids were born in UK, they won't get BCG vaccine. It's for TB. Possible ayithe get a BCG shot done before going to India. Check passport expiry dates on kids passports. Thats what I have referred in "Travel Clinic" part. We have already visited the pediatrician last week. He suggested to visit the "Travel Clinic" which takes care of everything before leaving and after arriving... :-) Omerikka lo $$ vundaale kaanee.. deenemma jejamma kooda vostundi.. with diff names tho(Travel clinic, departure clinic, arrival clinic, Thokkalo Clinic etc..) | ||

Wife and kiddos are visiting indYa for holidays(3 months). I am trying to figure out what are the things needs to be done by them during their visit. Few in my list is 1) Get Aadhaar card. 2) Register NRI voter 3) Get kiddos PIO card stamped with "Valid for life" in the airport on arrival. 4) Tirupathi & Shirdi bookings Pl add any missing parts to the list. Also what are all the pre-cautions to be taken care of BEFORE leaving 1) Visit Travel Clinic check up 2) Arrange money for the visit. 3) Talk to all classes/tuition folks for registrations break |
