There it is!!! So ends the fight of the social rage age. Mayweather gets it.....Manny showed a lot of heart & superfast punches but Floyd was doin wat he does best - Technically Compact & effective counterpunching. But still felt a lot of rounds which seemed equal or Manny's went to Mayweather. The match was a lot closer than the points show.....a few more spot on punches from Manny wud hav got him the match. This match very much defines both the boxers...I think we've seen the best of them. Was rooting for the underdog Manny, pity he cudnt finish it off! Not an all time classic match but a good solid boxing match nevertheless. | ||

The countdown has begun and 12 hrs from now we shall hav the most hyped up & financially sensational boxing matchup in recent times. Great news for those in India is that we get to see the match on Sony Six @ 8.30 am match time on Sunday though coverage starts much earlier by 6 am. Great work by Sony there. Preview: Defensive genius vs Offensive Southpaw. While many experts feel this match was 5 yrs too late coming, let's hope for a quality match which stands up to at least half the hype machine. What's at Stake? WBC, WBA, WBO titles on the line & possibly the best boxer title of this generation. Mayweather is a super smart strategist, content on out thinking his opponents into traps rather than bludgeoning them into submission and hence can be a bit boring to watch....but he is super efficient and his perfect record is proof enough. And he can defend his way out of hell. Manny Pac is a typical aggressive southpaw who shall come out swinging. He is a pocket rocket. Shall go for the kill. Known to hustle up opponents with his super fast punches. Known to throw an average of 100 punches a round. Shall be exciting to watch. Mayman shall win if he at his defensive best and if he can counterattack strategically after tiring out Manny. Paceman shall win if he can hustle up Mayweather, get him out of his comfort zone and knock the hell out of him. Odds: Odds are on Mayweather to win on points. I personally am a sucker for southpaw aggressors and more than that hoping for a good exciting match. Let the match begin!!! |
