Gandhi, Nehru and Patel .. all have been mean towards Bose .. and thats a fact .. why just talk about Patel vs Bose .. ignoring the personal feud they had due to property of Vittalbhai Patel? And why not talk about the greater mean-ness of Gandhi and Nehru towards Bose, Bhagat Singh and others, who were fighting the Brits? Would that not expose the pettiness of Mahatma and Panditji more than anybody else, for the sake of power? If Ramchandar Guha was a proper historian he would actually start from the friction that existed between Patel brothers before they took to independence movement. Personal egos & clashes were not just ideological in nature but were very personal with leaders in Congress be it Motilal Nehru or his son or the patel brothers; so to brush them away as just clash of ideas is absurd and unbecoming of a historian. Whats with this argument of asking BJP to take sides? Why can't they support both of them on their merits.
