This early morning I had a horrible dream. The dream started off on the premise that my 6 year old daughter was dead. (How and why were not in the dream. in fact the daughter herself was not in the dream.) I was finding it incredibly difficult to keep it together. I would break down; cry a lot; then ask my wife if she truly believed our daughter was gone; she would not respond; then she would start crying; I would stare at the emptiness beyond the sky with my chest becoming unbearably heavy. I couldn't see myself going further in my life. It was like the end of the world. The strange part of this dream was that it continued for a while in this setting. It was so frigging real that I was alternating between sadness, blankness, confusion, disorientation, sadness... Finally when I woke up and found my daughter sleeping peacefully on the bed, the relief cannot be explained in words. Still it took about half an hour after I woke up to get out of that uneasy feeling. There's a moodha nammakam that tellaaru jaamuna vacche kalalu nijam avuthaayi... Nenu ivi peddha pattinchukonu but ee dream shook me to the core completely. Dream analysis experts unnaaraa ikkada? What to make of this experience? Naaku nacchindi janaalaki nacchadu...
