That's fine...but nenu blind ga support cheyalenu team ni just because they are the Indian team...i was in 2011 at the Wankhede cheering the team...aa team lo stuff undhi, more balanced, and teams like Australia were at their nadir then... Appudu appudu passions pakkana petti balanced ga choodali game ni...morning Indian commentators kooda kashthapadthonnaru when they showed that Australia have a 53% chance to win (based on some Bing research). That itself is not a big odd, but Ganguly and Dravid emo 53 kooda ekkuva 50-50 antadu. Of course all commentators are like that, in fact the Aussies are worse. Always follow the money annatu, why were the bookies giving us least odds out of Aus, NZ, SAF or India. Because money does not life, at least often. | ||

Agreed today's was a difficult match, but had we batted first we wud hav definitely had more chances to put pressure on their chase. And coming to their performance, I think they played very well to be deserving Semi-finalists or even finalists. In fact, the Tri-Series was a blip in their otherwise consistent ODI performances over the past 4 years. The reason for that was more juice in the pitches at that point. By the time WC started, pitches were more drier and more batsmen friendly. Bowling was where we punched above our weight. Where we actually went wrong was we were short of atleast 2 decent batsmen/batting allrounders. Jadeja's inclusion was horrible to say the least. When all good teams were batting till 8/9, we missed a major trick there...Once our top 4 were gone early, it was packup. A sad and insipid end to a match decided by Toss and subsequent lack of fight from our Batsmen, which actually masked a promising tournament. | ||

I don't know why you guys are disappointed..reaching the quarters with our prior form was a great achievement..except that our jingoistic media and immature fans don't have a sense of perspective... Last 35 years we have won only one match in Sydney. Spinners are actually ineffective in Sydney, the one match we won in 2008 too we won due to pacers doing well. Today too, spinners just controlled runs but did not take wickets.... Form, statistics, team balance, enni choosina, India could not have won this - whether batting first or second | ||
