What you are missing is that Mahaa is privately owned and Rameshwar Rao family has 50% stake in that. The other companies you mentioned are public companies where the promoters own only a small stake. Also, one of the reasons why those companies are big is that they took on more debt. Chandrababu Naidu would have a few hundreds of crores of assets (mainly shares in Heritage) but may not exceed 1000 crores. Jaganmohan Reddy would qualify only if we include the big list of his assets attached by ED but I think we should not include those because based on the evidence given by CBI and ED the adjudicating authority and appellate authority of ED determined that they are proceeds of crime. | ||
