Thanks for update. Guess this is not a better replacement as it is tough process to get number ported. For 911 services we will need to subscribe for a different service and call forwarding and cell phone extension like vonage and others are issues, the experiences are not very good in terms of number porting. ooma waste bedar..waste in the sense you have to pay about $80 100 for the device and every month about $4-5 in taxes depending on your state....ooma you pay about $45 - 50 for the device..get all the good of oom and no monthly tax...you can sync your google voice # and use it as your land line....kontha mandiki ee rojullu just cell chaalu..but if you want to have a voip line like vonage...obihai is the best naku telisi....na usage ki. The only catch with this obihai is that google voice is shutting off access via third-party XMPP clients, coming May 2015, which means Obihai will not work after that. If you are using vonage and happy to pay the $35 or so fine...if you are using Obihai already....then seppedem ledhu..but to others....
