raping is violating someone's rights. converting is not. there is no right to not convert even though there might be in future (BJP's idea of change) I am not saying their intentions are sincere. But they are better than those who do nothing to help the needy and complain about them converting | ||

one interesting thing about christian conversion i have seen in US vs India is in US they value it as a very personal and transforming experience. even Christians do not consider themselves as Christians before baptism. They have to accept/invite Jesus into their life based on their sincere belief and experiencing God ( most of them have a testimonial to tell anyone who asks ) After that they make it their mission to spread the word But when it comes to India or third world countries they are just happy with the numbers They don't care if they converted because of money/politics/social conditions or any other reason. They just see greatness in numbers. That is a double standard. That is when they are far away. But when they personally go on missionary trips to India they actually try to help and mingle with the converted or potentials My question to those who cry on Christian conversions is - their motivation to spread their religion is making them seek out forgotten and ignored downtrodden people. Is your religious conviction making you do something like that ? If not, why are you crying on someone who is actually helping ( even with an agenda ) If i am hungry and dying in a remote village and nobody cares about me, i will accept whatever lord i have to accept without a second thought if my immediate problem is being solved by doing that Who the hell are you to judge me or the person who is actually helping me as opposed to you who don't even care about me ? | ||
