Gambhir always commented Dhoni on his defensive play between 30-45 overs... But those days, Dhoni used to cover the gap (b/n balls he faced and runs he scored) in the last 5 overs.. Kaani Ippudu Dhoni aa range lo cover cheyya leka vunnadu (T20 WC finals, Eng tho T20 lo last match with rayudu on other end etc..) So, Dhoni kuda idhi grahinchinattunaadu after AUS series that he needs to play positively..
