First of all, naa previous thread "Relocating to Mclean" ki respond aina vallandariki chala thanks...Last minute assignment change valana next week Rolling meadows,IL ki relocate avalsi vastondi..I am currently in MN so not new to midwest/weather but idey 1st time to Chicago.. Desi community, economic hub pakkana pedithey, manchi apartments suggest cheyandi.. Budget $1000 - $1200 (1b/1b)..As of now, looking at web reviews and seeking inputs from colleagues living there, I narrowed down: 1.) TGM park meadows (formerly Lincoln meadows): a bit costly but great reviews 2.) Village Green (but no availability until March end). 3.) Lakes of Schaumburg (reviews negative unnayi kani couple of folks suggested this). 4.) International Village (desi junta baane untaru anta) Top priority would be : Safe and well maintained community, short commute to work (~20 mins), short commute to Indian grocery stores...
