APGencoâs Krishnapatnam to supply power by March T valu racha racha chestaru power maaku kavali ani, Author and Awara kurrolu db lo gola chestaru. be prepared for it: APGenco, the power generation utility of Andhra Pradesh, has decided to declare the commercial operation date of 2X800 mw units of Krishnapatnam thermal power station (KTPS) by end of March 2015. Though one unit has been operating for some months now, the power utility has not announced the commercial operation date (COD) due to technical glitches arising on the project. Work on the second unit is in the final stages. Telangana, whose power utilities have invested Rs 1,050 crore in the venture, has been looking forward to the announcement of the COD of KTPS as this would allow the newly- formed state to claim 53.89 per cent of the power generated there, a claim that Andhra Pradesh has objected to, as the project is located in Andhra Pradesh. âAPGENCO is contemplating to declare COD of two units of KTPS by the end of this financial year,â said K Vijayanand, managing director of APGenco. The demand for power is going to increase exponentially in future, keeping in view the construction of the new capital, huge investments and industries, upcoming IT corridors. This Andhra real estate is for sale. |
