Its very good.. 45mins Kayak trip in the dark into the bay. When splashed water glows in bright blue color. Its like in Avatar, natural glow is produced by organisms reaction to disturbance. Vieques island has the best in the world, next best is somewhere in Indonesia. | ||

It depends on the season I guess. The season started from 12/15 and it is the best that I could get from east coast for my travel dates. | ||

Puerto Rico trip details, hope this helps for anyone planning to visit. Day 1 - Flew into San Juan, checked into resort and relaxed in the beach. Day 2 - Planned to go Culebra island, but failed to get Ferry tickets.. So visited Rain forest; evening relaxed at the beach & resort. Day 3 - Took ferry to Vieques island - Did Kayaking, Snorkeling and Bio-luminous bay tours. Stayed in Vieques. Day 4 - Returned from Vieques to main land PR, visited Old San Juan and Fort. Spent the Chrismas eve at the resort with lot of music Day 5 - Spent the morning in the resort and returned to airport by noon. Things must include in thee plan in the order * Flamenco beach in Culebra island - regarded as worlds 2nd best beach. * Bio-luminous bay - Worlds best in Vieques island. * Old San Juan city and Fort * Rain forest Plan for 4 nights stay, 5 nights would be best especially with kids.
