supporting khilafat movement was a bad call from gandhi and inc, even jinnah opposed it. at that time gandhi was an attention whore, he actively sought issues and participated just to be in the limelight. It worked well for him and for the indian freedom movement in the end. he supported the movement with positive intentions, it went out control, some fringe elements committed atrocities and the british could not keep the law and order. how that is comparable to a bharata ratna ratting out freedom fighters ? | ||
