Stats can give a skewed view. My take is,Second innings was well fought(suprisingly even bowling). India should hold on to difficult to catches, our slip fielding has costed some very good chances to contain Australia. my points out of the game. 1) Kohli should understand where a slip fielder should stand. Depending on the bowler he did not seem to change his position. 2) Vijay seemed very distracted in slips. 3) I liked Kohli's fielding positions for much of the second innings. 4) Spinner was a let down. All though he has an hurried action similar to abdul qadir, he is too slow, and giving a lot of time for the batsmen between deliveries. He needs to give the delivery more flight, probably was tensed as it was his first game. 5) Pujara starts the inning fine, but not continuing the momentum 6) Saha should be kicked in his nuts for the shot he chose. 7) Murali's batting was a revelation, the more i see his games, i more im convinced that he is a very good attitude towards the game. he is putting a very high price on his wicket 8) I hate to say this but, Rohit sharma turning into a glorified afridi ( i know he is not that bad, but .... cant help it) 9) Rahane's batting is a delight for sore eyes. 10) whatsup with BCCI and DRS. offlate umpires seems to have gotten used to DRS, and might be concentrating as much. | ||

off spinner not leftie. He plays for srini mama only so that is not an issue. He can always move up to one down position. In nzl, we almost chased a bigger target, so I'm not going to rule out MSD going for the target. In many ways, Kohli was playing with house money. What I'm surprised by is people not saying a word about Pujara - who is a test specialist. Atleast, Rohit and Jaddu and MSD can claim that tests are not their cup of tea.what's Pujara's excuse. This is a perfect example of yeda banke peda khana (the Hindi/Hyderabadi one :-D - an art perfected by Mr Dravid.... when India lost, it was always Tendulkar or Sehwag or Laxman not giving their 100%..... now it's Rohit, Rahane, Dhawan and so on.... Rohit, well, he's used up the rope given to him to hang himself :-D Bowling, don't even get me started. That said, a pacy pitch reduces the vast gulf in bowling quality. So there's opportunity, but as it often happens comes with a huge dose of tragedy right beside it.
