Sashasaurav: Who wants to be a GM for an impatient Owner who listens to billboards and fan signs ..
you can call jets owner anything but impatient...adu impatient ayyinte rex shld have been gone last yr or the yr before..
last time after jets fired tannenbaum, they did not get a strong GM candidate because the new GM did not want to inherit a lame duck coach as owner was not prepared to fire rex...
so they got an unknown candiate in izdik who is a cap specialist...now izdik did not bring jets out of mess...it was pretty easy decisions which any gm would have made...
but a GM shld be a talent evaluator and izdik's speciality is not that..he is more into finance side of the game...
entire league knows that izdik is a bad gm and he put rex in a bad posiiton...so dont worry about bad remark and clean house...if they dont fire izdik and only rex, against next 2 yrs lo they will run into same situation..better face it and do it tight...get a new gm and a coach and start fresh..
do what is best for the franchise...dont worry about what people will think..

Getafix:Idzik wanted to get rid of sanchi - understandable.. but there were 70mm screen signs all over the place from Geno from his rookie year..how in the world a precise route runner will help a QB who has accuracy issues?
Second - Signing Vick as backup was worst move..If Idzik thought Vick would become starter then decker was not needed at all.. because again Vick is not accurate passer.. he needs speedy guys not guys like decker.
this is on Izdik... Sanchez was Rexys guy even going into last yr
blunder by Rexy ante... pre season game lo 3rd quarter behind 2nd unit OLine he was left on the field and got injured

Idzik wanted to get rid of sanchi - understandable.. but there were 70mm screen signs all over the place from Geno from his rookie year..how in the world a precise route runner will help a QB who has accuracy issues?
Second - Signing Vick as backup was worst move..If Idzik thought Vick would become starter then decker was not needed at all.. because again Vick is not accurate passer.. he needs speedy guys not guys like decker.. |
