25-30 is more than enough i feel. You can cook 5 whole leg pieces at a time. If you look at some popular Indian cooking blogs like Sailusfood, i think many of them use < 30 litre OTGs. 40 will be quite big. In India, we don't bake that much. | ||

Did you use honey as a yeast starter ? If its not for thd starter honey's optional - if you don't want the sweetness you can avoid it .. Nenu kooda 2-3 weeks ayyindi koni, so initial burst of enthusiasm. I bought Kenwood 25 inches. The price below is not right, i bought it for 5400 at Spencers. Even on Snapdeal it was available for around 5500. The major advantage of this is that this has a fan (convection type) which in typical Indian ovens like Morphy or Bajaj is available only for bigger sizes like 35 litres and above. But one thing is that because of the fan, the heating is quicker than other ovens. So reduce the typical recipe settings by a few minutes. It rose very well, but i think i made it rise too much, and it became a bit too fluffy and crumbly. And slight yeasty smell. Should have reduced yeast a bit. But now that i know that the whole wheat rises well, i will cut down on yeast next time. Is it really necessary to add honey to the dough. | ||
