Jagan made an offer to BJP for tie-up before Assembly elections and Modi rejected it. BJP was going with clean image it did not want to mess up its image going with YSRC. BJP already is doing massive ground work to pull the cadre of YSRC. Both may go for a tie up, but merger may not be. Behind the scenes TDP is already crapping its pants. Chiru, Botsa and other political jokers are already sending feelers to BJP at center. KiKuRe is already on standby to come front once BJP goes public. Kanna already joined. Other leaders like Kothapalli, Konathala already ready to jump. | ||

This definitely seems to be true and not a rumor. Especially with all the cases, it will be hard for Jagan to fight independently. Merging YCP into BJP will be a big benefit for BJP Not sure who will be the CM candidate though. Pawan is unstable and not politically savvy. Jagan will be the only choice despite all those cases. If they can portray well, there is no doubt that BJP can emerge as clear winner next time | ||

But the talk is that BJP wants to be solo instead of supporting TDP and its chief Chandrababu Naidu. So far, the alliance is elevating TDP in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region. But instead if BJP can merge YSRCP and stand opposite Naidu then the scene in AP is going to be different. As such, there is a strong theory going on that BJP wants to occupy both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Anywhere, political greed will be there. An alliance is there but only when there is mutual benefit. Right now, BJP's winning streak is running with unanimous thumping majority. So, they are reportedly thinking that next elections they will sweep due to Modi wave. When everything is going positively for them, why to nurture a regional party and encourage it? For now, we have to see how YSRCP will react. But many feel if it really merges, the party can come out of all their problems. | ||
