not sure if my issue is related to this.. ninna i took the back up and erased and all its ontent on my iphone..2 hours ayina restart avvaledu..just processing icon undi.. after that power button and home button press chesa for 5 minutes..then the phone started....and i found content was not erased.. later reailized that you may get these kind of issues on jail break devices... so connected it to itunes and did restore iphone to factory setttings...which worked.. | ||

I bought a used 5S recently and here is my experience. There are TWO locks 1) iCloud lock(find my iphone feature on icloud) 2) "Apple Support profile" registration on your apple account. When the old user REMOVES Find My iphone option on their iCloud account for this phone, you are good to USE with your itunes account(and activating your own icloud/find my iphone feature), no problem. But when you had the warranty on your device, you cant use the warranty as you cant register the phone on your "Apple support profile" my devices area. When you add this device to your profile's my devices, it says the following "According to our records, this serial number is associated to another Apple ID. If you have more than one Apple ID, log in to My Support Profile with that Apple ID to see your other added products. Not sure if you have another Apple ID?". Even itunes reset also doesnt work to get over this. The reason is being, when the original phone is being purchased, you use an apple account to make the order and that account is tied to the phone. It can never be changed. Only the original owner with the original purchase receipt needs to go to the apple store, ask them to change the ownership, its a lot of process. Apple devices rocks, but Apple strategy sucks.. its gay.. | ||

eBay/craigslist lo iphone ni ammataniki mundu, factory defaults ki reset chestam kada.. konna vaadu thana iTunes account lo kottha phone ga setup chesukuntadu. Same goes here: Connect your phone to iTunes and do factory reset when it comes back, set up as new phone it will prompt you to input iTunes acct credentials activate the phone | ||

Emc2 If you have same itunes account for 2 phones..then you will be sharing same icloud space and an app downloaded in one account will be on other phone.. | ||

Naku 4 yrs ninchi iPhone undi...one year mundu 5s ki upgrade ayyanu....naa wife ki...iPhone6 order chesanu...ayithe...when I was setting up that phone....my default it took my account...and now I am unable to activate that phone and my itunes account is locked yo...reset ani chesthe...e-mail ravadam leedu aa account ki....apple store ki velli 1 hr waste chesthe...no use...on phone....45 mins hang ayithe.....no result....did anyone of you face this issue? can you help? |
