Very interesting and consuming article on the history of diamonds. A very good fiction novel can be based upon this. The way demand was raised for a non-essential commodity using cartel controls and clever marketing was amazing. Wonder how it shaped up post 1982. Bottomline even today the demand from women folk is immense almost that only through Diamond Jewellery you can showcase your class and announce that you have reached 'there'. However, in the general market, its Gold which has more value so much so Banks give you loan on the same but not diamonds. | ||

ohh ok... even gold kuda same kada... piccha piccaga cooked up.. Naa oka x-collague (worked together in 2011) was from Ghana (ikkada gold mining piccha piccha common anta)..
