Duvvuri Rohini Pratyusha is a Class 12 student of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan school in Kuwait. She collected Rs. 2.15 lakh by "reaching out to Indian families after school hours and handed over the money to the Embassy of India in Kuwait to be sent to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund", according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
A letter has been sent to her by Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanking her for raising funds to help those devastated by the recent floods in Jammu and Kashmir, which left thousands of people homeless.
