Ridiculous numbers! And such accounts are rarely held on individual names. Even if the person who made this list came up with the individuals behind the trusts or organizations that own the accounts, I can't see how they can attribute a specific amount to each individual without naming the other members who are part of the trust/organization. Anyway, I'll explain why the numbers are ridiculous. If a person like HD Kumaraswamy had 14500 crore rupees. By spending half of it (7250 crores) and some planning for one year before Karnataka elections, he could have clean swept the polls and become the CM without coalition. Why didn't he do that if becoming CM for a short period that too in a coalition helped him amass this kind of wealth? Same goes for Lalu, Karunanidhi etc. | ||
