i use gmail app. as everyone is saying you can attach as many pics as you can, but you cannot attach any documents from file system. if you are in the middle of composing an email and if you want to attach a document and if it happens to be in ur google drive then you can attach from there. | ||

pics is not a problem because iphone by default gives this functionality..if you dont use default mail app which app you use to attache documents ? btw my q is simple , you should be able to attach document to the email when you are in email app..not like you choose doc first and then choose email option . | ||

icloud drive introduce chesadu with ios8. you can add/delete/update documents from your pc and/or your apple devices. attaching document to email...so far what i noticed is open document and then send it as email attachment is only available option...not other way..you can attach photos but not documents directly from mail app.. I Love Movies.... | ||

guys thinking to switch back to apple but before that i want to make sure that some basic functionality that i've been using in android all these days are available (may be workarounds with free apps) in ios .. 1. File manager should be able to attach a document (docx, pdf, xl etc) to email, attach to any email like we do with pc. there is dropbox free app in apple which provides facility to attach but only dropbox links are embedded in an email not attachments..that too it has to be new email, for example if i want to send a document then browse to the doc and in doc share options you choose email icon then it will start all the way new email..I dont want that I want to attach a document for any on going email chain. i tested this in ios-7 not sure if new iphone 6/+ has any inbuilt app. |
