He had a bariatric surgery to reduce his weight which was causing huge complications related to his already diabetic constitution. Then after a week or so after discharge, he had further complications related to his surgery. So he had to be readmitted to AIIMS. Now he is in an isolated ward. | ||

Not sure. Shourie might, but anyway as my Delhi friend was saying, Finance anyway was being run by the PMO. So it does not matter. But the defence ministry matters because of all the external issues right now - Chinese incursions, ISIS issues etc. | ||

last i read was he was advised 3-4 days rest as he had some surgery due to the some issues In history there is no such thing as the last word on any subject research leads to new things every day | ||

Either he is in a very critical shape or he is already gone....i heard it from some Delhi circle friends..i hope it is not true...but they are apparently not disclosing it for a few more days as he holds Defence too and it might be sensitive to disclose this without having a backup plan. Modi ni kooda blame cheyali - 4 months ayyindi govt form chesi, he still has not done a cabinet expansion, Jaitley holds both finance and defence. And these two ministries have been headless for nearly a month and more. Again, these might just be rumours and i wish they were not true. |
