 open market does not mean you dump in others market. each country will take its own precautions when to raise anti-dumping taxes or not, USA does it and so do other countries. Its not like we have to import that crap. take for example Solar panels, chinese companies are making them and selling at dirt price dumping and not letting any manufacturing to happen in other countries. that is why i said anti-dumping to make it expensive for them to dump. does not mean its quality stuff, we get what we pay for, we have a japanese made radio from the early 90's and it still works perfectly, something that we brought later stopped in 1 year, quality matters, everything in their country hinges on govt backing once the people start realizing that its packing bags. their economy is working on huge govt backed projects and underwritten by them. They cannot keep doing that and sustain, in the meanwhile we need to guard our supply lines and industry. Infrastructure is the key we have huge potential here , we should not let Chinese enter, engage Japan, South Korea, Germany and other countries and build partnerships with them. We do not need substandard Chinese goods to flood our market and kill our enterprise and become another dump yard for it. Our internal struggles are ours, do you think there are no struggles in China? we just don't know about it as they are totally suppressed. We do not need to become another USA with our total industry wiped out by importing everything from China. Any govt which is at the center has to be very proactive and planned in dealing with China. we are not in a bad position, our biggest problem is Oil. If we find a better alternative sooner we will be better off. Our Manufacturing base is not wiped out like USA so we have to impose strong anti-dumping tax and protect our base. If we give in now to China we are done. I am not trying to convince anybody of my intentions, end of the day my interest is Hyd and T nothing else. If tomorrow KCR is gone and Congress or TDP comes to power I will still be found batting for Hyd and T. So what you think does not matter. We have had enough of negotiations and patience with the Chinese, we need to stand up and shove it up in their face. Give a strong response if needed in border areas where we know the territory is ours. Develop better relations with the anti-china countries around here - Japan is a very good partner.
