Definite ga DB lo cheppina bad talk bayataithe ledu brother....Went with a big group of friends...mostly neutrals and other hero fans...Everyone said "Baane Vundi, Oka sari choodocchu/Avg" Most of them enjoyed the movie. But movies with this kinda talk need a free run @ BO....lets see how it does nxt week. | ||

Where - Prasadz 11 PM show Looking at all the threads in the DB, I jst went in expecting another RV. Happy to inform you that it isn't and far from it. Premise - Movie is a typical Telugu commercial formula in standard Srinu Vaitla format. Movie runs on screenplay rather than any story. Hero enters Villian's house, creates confusion and resolves everyone's problems. 1st Half - Starts off with the oldest storyline in TFI and NTR's RV 1st half character is as it is continued with a college backdrop. While there was nothin in terms of story, it isn't boring either....it is decently entertaining. Interval bang isn't anything special. Overall an OK 1st half. 2nd Half - Though seen a million times, our typical formula works. Brahmi episodes with NTR are hilarious. Sentiment towards the end is decent and an ok predictable climax. Overall Entertaining 2nd half. Analysis - The only and biggest issue for me was lack of depth in storyline which leaves you disconnected to some of the good episodes. But other than tht, the movie is fast paced with decent entertainment all the way. Director cud hav easily done with a better line though treatment got better as the movie progressed and was inline with Kandireega. NTR is truly the highlight of the movie. He simply negates many of the flaws with his screen presence. He was good in both comic and emotional scenes and danced well. No one else cud hav done any better. He carries the film. Brahmi is the other highlight. Nowadays it all depends on his characterization. Here it was good and hence worked. Everyone else were ok, but none stand out in an overdose of characters. The Good - NTR, Brahmi and entertainment. The Ok - Songs The Not so good - Storyline and Fights Summary - Hit for fans and Avg for others. Did I enjoy - Yes Families & Kids - Definitely P.S : Ppl complaining abt this movie need to introspect quality of most movies of TFI. But yes, NTR can do better than these formulas. |
