Headphones or external speakers try chesaaava? If headphones are eorking fine, then most probably your laptop speakers died on you. If headphones arent working then it could be your soundcard, motherboard, or driver issue. One way to check if it is a software issue is to boot into Linux from a usb drive or dvd, and check if sound is working in a different OS and driver.
