Joker will have tough fight from Tsonga, Tsonga recently had beaten him and will have confidence. He has a good pre tournament to that extent. 2nd Q lo Stan kanna I would rate Robredo to do well and get in. Even with Nadal or Djoko, this US Open is Fed's to lose. He has been playing great this year and is in his best form for the past few years, riding off on confidence from the past few tourneys. More importantly, he seems to be enjoying himself in lrobably his last real hurrah and looks hungry to win jst one more Grandslam. Novak is the opposite. He jst doesnt seem hungry for now. Djoko is near unstoppabale when in form. But he looked very mortal in the last two tourneys where he had never lost so early. He has definetely dropped many levels after winning Wimby, subsequent marriage and upcoming baby. He probably jst isnt ready at the moment. Djoko has never fallen before Quarters since 2008 and has reached semis in 16 of the past 17 Grandslams. Consistency doesnt get better than tht. But I fear it might snap this time as he seems to be in standby mode upto Aus Open nxt year. Nishikori, Dmititrov, Raonic look good to spearhead the young brigade into quarters/semis. Murray enjoys US Open and wudnt be surprised to see him in Semis/Finals. Waw himself doesnt know what he can do but still isnt consistent enough at the moment. But this US Open, it shall all be about Fed and especially when there isn't that big brute of a Spanish bull to stop him, l'il else does. | ||
