Did this exact same thing a few years ago...got in at 8 am got out at 6 pm Arrived by train at the Gare de l'est station, bought a one day train ticket at the station before getting out. Took a bus to the Eifel tower, in the morning traffic it took about 45 mins. Spent around an hour at the tower, walked from one end to the other, but did not go up due to long lines. Walked around the streets and eventually made my way to the subway to go to the Notre Dame cathedral. Long lines there as well. Spent about 30-45 mins inside the cathedral. From there, walked along the Seine crisscrossing all those famous bridges on the river, to the Louvre - this took an hour...miscalculation on my part, maps la chusi daggare anukunna At the Louvre...long lines again, but luckily some dude offered me an unused ticket he had, for 5 Euros less, wasn’t sure if it was authentic, because of something that happened earlier that day at the Eifel tower (krinda choodudu) but took at it anyway because the guy looked decent. Spent a couple of hours there. Then walked the Champs Elysees. I could have done one more attraction because it was only around 2 pm by then, but ee mottam walking valla pulusu kaari poindi. Stopped at a cafe had a crepe, coffee, and a local Marlboro ciggi, and took the subway to the train station by 4:30PM So the funny part of the trip was getting swindled by a group of Roma kids for 20 Euros...lol. These 2-3 girls about 12-15 years of age approached me, asked I spoke English, put a paper in my hand and asked if I am willing to donate 2 Euros for some charity event, I said sure, but I only have a twenty, they said they have the change, I gave them the twenty, they gave me a paper to write my name and email, while I was busy doing that, they ran away with my twenty laughing out loud...kopam raledu, jali valla vachina badhatho kudnia oka navvu navvi manolle kada lite anukunna. Beaware of the Roma people on the streets. They use every trick in the book to squeeze something out of you. Beg borrow or steal. I had fun, 10/10 would do it again | ||

You can got bank of america here and get some Euros. Everything is costly in Europe and especially Paris. Many of my friends regularly go to Paris on Business Trips so know many details. will be in Paris for only one day (flying back next day 10 am)...reaching Paris around 11 am...other than Eiffel tower what all are good places to cover in that 9 hours stretch by EOD...friend of mine suggested to take Orange bus tour which cover popular spots.. any other suggestions? Also I got a hotel 5 mins drive from Eiffel tower but the latest he would allow to check in is around 1 pm....thinking to leave luggage at the hotel locker and check in later |
