Dalit girls will be given 50 thousand marriage assistance –Kalyana lakshmi Scheme. Tandas with over 500 population will be turned Panchayats. Special welfare commission to be set up for tribals. Elderly, widows will be given 1000 pension, disabled 1500 – Dasara – Deepavali season will be the distribution time; new pension cards to be issued. Pensions at state level will be on par with centre’s. An international agency will be recruited to improve the image of Hyderabad. State advisory council will be set up with eminent persons. New master plan for Hyderabad will be formulated. Telangana Public Service Commission (TPSC) will be set up immediately. A new agricultural university on the name of Prof. Jayashankar will be put up. Students fees reimbursement will have 1956 as cut off date. Toddy shops in Hyderabad will be re-opened by dasara. State emblem to be slightly changed as per latest guidelines on usage of national emblem. RMPs, PMPs will be trained and given certificates to practice in villages. Karne Prabhakar is being nominated as MLC for the one vacant seat. 3620 constables will be recruited, The government is not concerned with the TV channels blockage issue. CM KCR and his cabinet decided upon 43 important decisions today. Among the important decisions, the Government reiterated it will issue loan waiver as per poll promise and that would benefit 39,07,409 farmers. The Govt scrapped Fee Reimbursement & Introduced a new scheme called Financial Assistance to Students of Telangana (FAST) in it’s place. FAST issues scholarship based on income and nativity criteria to the students. A committee will shortly issue all guidelines in this regard. For nativity, 1956 is considered cutoff for families looking to benefit under the scheme. The CM explained the decisions and some additional issue sin the press conferences after the cabinet meet today. We bring here most of the decisions and declarations made today. More details are awaited. 10 lakhs compensation to martyrs families, job to eligible youth in the families. 3 acres farm land to agri dependent martyr’s families. Free education and medical facilities to martyr’s families. 3 acre land for poorest dalit families. Loan waiver will be done for farmers. 39,07,409 farmers will benefit with the loan waiver scheme, incurring 17 to 19 thousand crores expenses on govt. Gold loans too are included in this. Loan waiver for power-loom workers. All laws, commissions and boards will be amended, renamed to replace word Andhar Pradesh with Telangana State sponsored KG to PG education to be named after Acharya Jayashankar. To be unveiled shortly. 1000 crore budget to be allotted to muslims. Wakf board will be given judicial status. Committee to inspect Muslim reservations issue will be set up shortly. Wakf tribunal to be set up with district judge. Cases on all Telangana activists from 2001 onwards will be entirely quashed. All contract employees working for Telangana govt will be regularized, with few relaxations of rules for longstanding employees. All Govt employees to get ‘Telangana increment’. To cost 180 Cr on exchequer. A committee to be set up t olook into possibilities to pay State employees on par with those in Central service. Dalits will be given three acres land immediately.
