Power Star Pawan Kalyan - this one title is enough for the Tollywood youth to be powerful. Pawan Kalyan’s identity began as an younger brother to actor turned politician Chiranjeevi. But then, that was only for a short time. He began his film career in Tollywood with Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi in 1996. His first break through was in 1998 with Tholi Prema which won 6 Nandi Awards and National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. Since then he had many ups and downs, but he never gave up. Thammudu is one of his best movies which was written and directed by Arun Prasad. This movie was released on July 15th in 1999 which celebrates its 15 years anniversary today. Pawan Kalyan played an emotional role in the film and set an example to be a true brother, sharing not only joys and happiness, but also sorrows and responsibilities. Ramana Gogula’s music for the film is still popular among the youth. After Thammudu movie, Pawan Kalyan’s image was taken up high by the following movies Badri and Kushi. Those two movies were the trend setters during 90s and he had unique following with all these movies. After Kushi, Pawan fans had continuous disappointments, but never left him. Gabbar Singh has again brought him the success that he was lacking for a long time. Attarintiki Daredi created new records worldwide, though the movie was leaked before it’s released. Pawan Kalyan’s attitude brings him more fan following. His contribution to Praja Rajyam was outstanding. But he didn’t stop at its fall, continued and continuing journey with his new political party Jana Sena. Recently, he has warned the imposters for using his party name and his name to collect funds. He is currently waiting for the complete recognition of his party by the Election Commission. He will soon reveal his party’s action plan. During recent general election campaign, he made it clear that he is not going to tolerate any public issue, though he supported Telugu Desam and BJP in elections, which are in power now. So, it is expected that he will fight against the governments on public issues soon. Currently, Pawan is busy with Gopala Gopala shoots in which he is doing a devotional character. To justify his character, he is spending time to read devotional books and in devotional activities.
