No matter how many tips we give...it is upto you on how to practice it. nenu swimming ippude nerchukuntunnanu (mostly by watching youtube videos)....first floating nerchukunnanu...I don't know how but somehave I manged to learn breat stroke and butterfly strokes with out learning free style by watching youtube videos. ippudippude freestyle try cheshtunnanu. the best tip from my experience - there is no hurry & you don't leran by rushing (i mean throwing hands and legs in the pool). once you know how to float...take time to slowly practice strokes. Be it any style, start stretching your body which will improve your chances to inhale through mouth and the rest is cordination/sync between your arms and head...legs have the least part... this is how I learnt swimming...try your luck... final say - don't watch too many youtube videos, select one style...learn then watch more videos for improvising... all the best |

first get your technique right, if needed take a private lesson couple of times to get it right because that helps in utilizing your stamina better. Swimming is all about using the right technique and yet get the maximum mileage out of it. If you are using the wrong technique you get tired easy. Spend some money on yourself and get few lessons and it will go a long way In history there is no such thing as the last word on any subject research leads to new things every day |

Filmbuff, If you are a right hander, natural tendency is to turn to your left while stretching the right arm forward. when you do this, twist your torso to dip your right shoulder and lift your left shoulder, then breathe with your mouth. Once you mastered turning to your left, then practice turning to your right. it might take you a week Modi ki pungi pagluddi extralu chesthey.. wooh thattaa... its the most trickiest part after learning to float.. oka saari vasthe.. inka aapetod undadu... technical ga ayithe, you have to raise your chest either side ways or upwards(Depending on the style of the swim) kadha... while you are doing it you have to breath in , for every two strokes... you can practice them while not swimming... stand in water, and bend enough so your upper body is flat on water extend your and act as though your swimming.. hands move chese appudu .. body side ways ki lift avuthadhi.. kadha.. try to breathe while your doing this.... it takes some practice and conscious effort until it becomes an involuntary action ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pesi_zocmrM |
