1. Depending on the legalese...This contract can be solid
If the terminology is something like "25,000 for the cost of training / HR / Bongu / Boshanam incurred on you as an employee" (they are not asking 25,000 if you quit...they are asking 25,000 incurred on you).

2. 18 months bonded labor may not stand in courts (depend on state) but mostly states are "at will employment"

3. Important thing : Vaallu H1 ki dabbulu teesukunnaru kabatti (if you have proofs) they would not dare to take you to court...Manakante mundu vallaki pagulutundi.

Ilanti contracts lo the worst thing that can happen is losing last paycheck

consultancies are not a factories to apply for H1Bs and leave you as you like..

But party has right to go to Court. Agreement Papers validity is lesser than Stamp-paper validity, but still Attorneys can pull it off in the court, in favor of the Company. So manaki akkada bokka padiddi. Court ki vellanantha time it is easy.

none of those contract terms are legal...they (employer) cannot even try..
