A few thoughts: 1. Remember that the Reddy lobby is not going to go away. They are currently angry with Jagan for creating a mess. Going forward all the congress men will unite. The ground work has already begun in Delhi today with the AICC meeting. 2. Jagan will (go/not go) to jail. That is not the problem. He has already compromised with 10 Janpath. He is going to act in sync with them. Every AICC leader is sympathetic towards him. 3. Watch any national debate and read some post debacle articles. The fundamental problem with Congress is lack of tall state leaders. It is not easy for Congress to create another Jagan. 4. He has already spent 1.5 years in Jail. Even if he is convicted, he will not get a sentence more than 2 years. That means he has to spend another 6 months in jail. 5. Jagan will be asked to confine to kadapa or parts of seema. A new leadership can be built in coastal Andhra. 6. In the worst case, he may be disqualified from contesting. | ||
