It is absolutely amazing feat by 120 billion Indian people. India may not have sophisticated democracy, it may not have perfect democracy, but this election again proved democracy is in our blood. People trust democratic principles and democratic institutions. We are not too far before we perfect our democracy. One more sterling aspect of this election is election of a BC and non-Gandhi leader as PM. It proved Indian people are smart and they can can choose any leader for the highest position as long as that leader has capabilities nothing to do with his religion, caste, and creed. Also Modi proved he is most charismatic non-Gandhi leader to achieved this amazing feat. |
